AORTIC 2007 Conference held in Cape Town 2007 from 24 – 28 October 2007
The 6th International Cancer conference held recently in South Africa was a resounding success and to coin a phrase by Lynette Denny, Secretary Treasurer of AORTIC, the GHI (General Happiness Index) was high!
401 participants from 40 countries gathered together to listen to world renowned speakers, to share experiences with colleagues, to gain advice from experts, to make contacts and to acquire new stimuli and fresh ideas making AORTIC's 6th International Cancer conference the largest International Cancer event ever to have taken place on the African continent. Over 70% of the participants at AORTIC 2007 came from African countries which substantiates the conference as a truly African event.

The AORTIC 2009 Conference will be held in Dar-Es-Salaam, Tanzania from 11 - 14 November 2009. More details to follow at a later date.
